Lindsay Lohan caught in bikini on Hawaii beach

25-year-old actress Lindsay Lohan was pictured taking to the waves in Oahu this week, looking tanned and toned in a multi-coloured leopard print bikini.  Lindsay Lohan didn’t let the grey, overcast day stop her from enjoying the beach. The Mean Girls star raced into the water which, by the looks of her face, was a little colder than she expected.

Back on the sand, Lohan ensured the nearby photographers captured her best angle, turning and posing with pointed toes and sucked-in stomach. The troubled starlet is looking better than ever after years of fluctuation weight and personal issues.

Currently serving her community service in the Los Angeles County morgue, Lohan was reportedly paid $1 million to pose for Playboy. The photos were so highly-anticipated that the cover and several inside shots were leaked on the Internet last week, forcing the men’s magazine to push the publishing date forward.

Lindsay escaped to Hawaii during the fallout, where she has been staying with sister Ali and stylist friend Patrick Aufdenkamp during the Bamzai Pipe Masters Surf Contest.  To tease fans, Playboy ended up releasing one official image along with some quotes.

In the interview that accompanies the Marilyn Monroe-inspired shoot. Lindsay discusses think Marilyn Monroe once said that. “I certainly agree with her. Knowing yourself and your body is so important because it give you confidence, and in life, women need confidence.

The former child star has been far more famous for her personal life and run–ins with the law than her acting career in recent years, and for the first time, Lindsay appears to take responsibility for her downfall. “Ultimately we are each responsible for ourselves and for our actions.’ she says.

“Looking back, I probably would have listened to and taken more advice from the people whom I admire and would have followed through with it more. “My stubbornness at 18 and 19 years old got in the way. During the past five years. I’ve learned that time flies faster than you think, and because you only live once you have to learn from your mistakes, live your dreams and be accountable.’
